Proven in Diverse Real-World Pilots
The RINNO Retrofitting Manager platform underwent a rigorous real-world evaluation using a three-step process: an initial workshop for 29 industry representatives, a one-week hands-on testing period (4–10 September 2023), and a UTAUT-model-based survey.
Results showed 76% of participants (20/26 respondents) agreed RRM improves renovation project management, though 23% emphasized the need for validation on live projects. Users reported high usability but recommended automating the Monitoring component for instant KPI/BIM display post-schedule validation. Deployment was deemed straightforward (requiring only computers/internet), yet adoption barriers included resistance to change and training costs. Despite this, most users expressed strong willingness to recommend RRM to peers, confirming its practical value pending further real-world pilot testing.
The platform has been validated through extensive pilots across diverse European climates and markets (France, Denmark, Greece, Poland), demonstrating its effectiveness in real-world scenarios by significantly reducing project timelines, optimising resources, and enhancing occupant satisfaction and energy performance.
